W Hotel Hoboken Trunk Show 05/24/12


Not Yo Mama’s Affairs does it again! This Thursday 05/24/12, the NYMA’s Crew is hosting a trunk show at the W Hoboken and we will be in attendance! This show will feature a hand-selected group vendors that are not only awesome, but will be offering up summer-ready deals that you will only be able to find here! If you have waiting to see us in person, this is definitely the time to make it out.

We want to extend a warm and hearty thank you to everyone in Hoboken, Jersey City and especially the lovely NYMA’s Crew for supporting the Craftmen from the beginning. A community that supports the arts and their artists in a way that makes us proud to even be a small part of.

A New Home for My iPhone

I have this habit of dropping my iPhone on the ground, repeatedly, from really high places (I’m 5’11”). Last week, I finally buckled down and bought a case for it. But not just any old case. Those $5 plastic joints weren’t cuttin’ it. So I stepped it up and snagged something special from the Craftmen. Jayson, one of the designers and proprietors of the brand, told me about the case at a party we met at a few weeks ago. All of their pieces are handmade (from the design to the cutting to the stitching). Check out the specs:

I didn’t even need to see it to know that it was perfect for me. And when he mentioned that it was a 1 of 1? Man, listen - I told him I wanted it ASAP. He delivered it in person and it was love at first sight, man. Beautiful case. This joint is butter soft, too — I can’t wait ‘til it breaks in and takes on a richer color. Here’s a few pics:
